Install and configure NewRelic on CentOS Server

Install NewRelic

rpm -Uvh http://yum.newrelic.com/pub/newrelic/el5/x86_64/newrelic-repo-5-3.noarch.rpm 
yum install newrelic-sysmond 
nrsysmond-config --set license_key={your key} 

Start NewRelic

/etc/init.d/newrelic-sysmond start 
/etc/init.d/newrelic-daemon stop 

Configure your VHosts for NewRelic

<VirtualHost 192.168.42.43>
  ServerName www.janaksingh.com
  DocumentRoot "/path/to/drupal/"
  ...
  #Enable New Relic monitor
  <IfModule php5_module>
    php_value newrelic.appname "janaksingh"
  </IfModule>
</VirtualHost>

Restart NewRelic

/etc/init.d/newrelic-daemon 
restart /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
